The Workforce, Partnership and Grant Branch of PIIE engages in unique local, state or national interactions that focus on developing skills and improving opportunities for the region’s workforce.

The goals of this branch:

1. Develop and implement CTE career pathways, in partnership with K-12, Adult Ed and community-based organizations.
2. Manage existing and seek additional external grants and other funding (local, state, federal, foundation and corporate grants, awards and allocations) to increase opportunities for the development, enrichment and scaling of LATTC pathway innovations.
3. Develop and manage workforce initiatives; providing specialized training for incumbent workers and unemployed students and residents; and fostering industry partnerships to improve employment outcomes.
